The Films of Jennifer Cox Featuring Hush-Sh and A Film About Home, a short and a short feature by a truly eclectic filmmaker.

To make her short Hush-Sh (2006, 16 minutes), Jennifer asked people from across the world to anonymously confess their secrets, resulting in an unconventional, joyful and moving film.

Jennifer later moved her subject matter more closely to home with her most recent short feature (2008, 40 minutes): "I never knew what Home was so I decided to travel and visit a wide variety of people in order to ask them what Home was for them and by doing so, I hoped to find my own."

Jennifer employs an exciting range of aesthetic visions in exploring her subjects, making use of interviews, animated sequences and atypical filming techniques.

Jennifer studied a BA (Honours) in Documentary and Film in the UK, despite spending most of her time travelling. Jennifer currently lives in Madrid where she works as a photographer and makes films.
